How long does preparing take?
MCAT preparation requires between 2 and 6 months depending on scheduling constraints and the amount of content review required.
Preparation schedules are customized to each student's needs and can be flexibly planned to fit demanding college class schedules.
When is the best time to take the MCAT?
The ideal window in which to submit your primary application via AMCAS is the three months from May to July the year before starting medical school. Consequently, the summer test dates are best if you are taking the exam in the year before you intend to apply. To apply in the same year you should take the MCAT no later than May.
